These "Before" and "After" pictures illustrate how W.O.W. Redesigns has enhanced these rooms by better using the space, flows and arrangement of furniture and art work that was already in the home.

Before there was no where to sit comfortably in this small living room.Using two slipper chairs from an upstairs room solved the seating problem.

This seating area was surrounded by unrelated bits and pieces giving it a cluttered appearance. Now there is form and colour to define the seating space.

This bedroom nook was being used to store miscellaneous pieces and the bookcase was not organized. Now, this bedroom nook is a restful area to relax in and read a book or simply chat on the telephone.

This long narrow living room with combined leather and rattan furniture provided no focus or definition. It felt confusing when seated there. By creating two distinct areas in the long room we gave the home a formal and a casual feel by separating the leather and rattan furniture and grouping them comfortably.

This formal dining room had great bones but no drama. By showcasing a collection of glass on the table, and decluttering this dining area sparkles!

The eating area had too many small items on the walls. We placed a round mirror on the wall to soften the edges and added some weight in the form of sconces with greenery to emphasise the garden theme

The mirror on this wall did not reflect anything in the room and the high back chairs were too dominant.

This living room, with it’s corner fireplace, a column next to it and mis-matched large furniture appeared chaotic and disorganized.By rearranging the furniture in a balanced formation, using throws and cushions to co-ordinate colours and creating a garden theme over the fireplace, this room now looks pulled together and restful.

This homeowner has lovely artwork and lots of furniture and collections throughout the open plan living room, dining room and music area. By grouping the art and collections and placing the dining room table against the wall, the homeowner appears to have a more spacious area which sets off her art and collectibles.

The furniture in this small living room is too large for the space and a clutter of knick knacks made it seem untidy. It was also very difficult to access the sundeck and one couch blocked one of the only light sources in the room. By changing the traffic flow, colour co-ordinating art work and utilizing simple dark accents from her collection, a calmer and brighter look was achieved.

Looking through the suite from the music area, the room appears dark and over furnished. We relocated her photo screens and opened up the mirrored hallway doors allowing more reflective light into the room. Art groupings add to the decluttered and brighter effect.

The family room of this home was overwhelmed with books in tall bookcases on every wall. To be restful and welcoming we created breathing space by repositioning a large bookcase, organizing the shelves with collections and books and placing the mirror that was over the fireplace opposite the patio doors to reflect daylight, thus brightening the room.
